At Hickory Nut Gap Farm’s Deli & Bakery, we pride ourselves in sourcing ingredients from local businesses and farms.

Here on our farm, we raise 100% grassfed beef, pasture-raised pork, and pasture-raised poultry and eggs.

We use meats from our own farm and from regional cooperative farms (the latter distributed through Hickory Nut Gap Meats, our wholesale company). We also grow our own organic tomatoes and berries, which we use in our sandwiches and baked goods.

Steve, our distinguished bread maker, has been baking bread for over 30 years. His story began in California, and he’s been delighting bread lovers with his talent in the kitchen from coast-to-coast. Every Friday, Steve fills the air at Hickory Nut Gap Farm with the scent of delicious fresh-baked cookies, scones, and specialty breads. His artisan loaves go fast, so come by on Fresh Bread Friday to make sure you get one–they’re not to be missed!

Baked Goods at the Farm Store

Available for a quick grab at the farm store are a variety of fresh-baked delicacies including scones, cookies, and pecan squares. In our refrigerated section, there are oven-ready pies available with cooking instructions, perfect for tonight’s at-home dessert. And, you must try Steve’s perfect take-and-bake biscuits.
