Notes for attendees:
- This will be hosted at the Farm in our History Barn in the Spring- there will be space heaters if the weather gets chilly, but make sure they have a sweater in case.
- Your kiddo’s creations will be fired on site by Ona.
- Parents can attend with their kids, but if they want to make pottery they need to pay a second admission.
- The grounds are open to parents and siblings to play while class is in session.
- Our Farm Store will be open 10am-5pm. When attending classes, you will receive a 10% discount coupon for the Farm Store & Butchery!(open until 5pm).

Ona Armstrong
Ona Armstrong is a friend of Hickory Nut Gap Farm and the Ager Family, a ceramic artist who lives with her family in West Asheville, North Carolina. She also taught all three Ager boys in Kindergarten at Evergreen Community Charter School. She is the designer of the Sound Silo at the farm. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a BA in Ceramics and Education from Bennington College in Vermont. She founded Firefly Valley Pottery and offers Spring and Fall classes and Pottery Summer camp as well as studio, kiln and pottery wheel rentals. She is excited to offer a parent/child class at Hickory Nut Gap Farm this Spring!
