Hickory Nut Gap is a working family farm and a meat distribution company based in Fairview, North Carolina. The meat company, Hickory Nut Gap Meats, collaborates with a network of farmers in our region to produce regeneratively raised, 100% grassfed beef and pasture raised heritage breed pork. Our meats are sold to retail, distributor, food service, ecommerce, and other customers across the eastern US.

ROLE
The warehouse associate works out of our shared warehouse space in Flat Rock, NC. The role supports all warehouse duties such as packing orders, assisting pickup customers, working with our ERP system, receiving products, and rotating cooler and freezer inventory. The ability to work as part of a team while executing individual tasks is a key to success in this role.

This role will be largely responsible for continued growth in current key accounts and new customer development. Regular travel will be required to increase presence of the HNG brand in both retail and foodservice channels. This position reports to our Director of Sales and will be a leader within our sales team and work closely with Finance, Marketing, and Operations.

INTRODUCTION
This Retail Sales Associate position works out of the farm store at Hickory Nut Gap Farm (HNG Farm) in Fairview, North Carolina.
HNG Farm provides a full customer experience through retail butchery, local goods stores, and farm tours/events.
This position provides customer support activities under the advice of the General Manager at HNG Farm store. The sales associate works to ensure that the retail store is operating at an efficient and high quality level, customers are delighted with both product and service outputs, and they are communicating effectively to execute all tasks.

This associate position is located in the main office of Hickory Nut Gap Meats (HNG Meats) in Flat Rock (Henderson County), North Carolina.
The incumbent works in an office, freezer and cooler warehouse environment. Most office work is accomplished using personal desktop or portable computer systems, scanners, printers, copiers, phone, and typical office supplies and equipment. Warehouse work includes lifting in coolers and freezers, utilizing and electric pallet jack, forklifts and reach trucks.

INTRODUCTION
The Key Account Manager is based out of the Hickory Nut Gap Meats warehouse in Flat Rock, NC. The position primarily works from home/remote and on the road.
The Key Account Manager coordinates collaboration among departments to manage current accounts and new business. The role requires regular travel, primarily within the region, to retail and distribution partners.
