Mama’s Meatloaf

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 lbs Ground Beef 80/20
  • 1 c. Milk
  • 1 T. Worcestershire
  • ½ t. Dried Basil or 2 t. Fresh Basil
  • ½ t. Salt
  • ¼ t. Pepper
  • ½ t. Ground Mustard
  • ¼ t. Garlic Powder
  • 1 Egg
  • ¾ cup plain bread crumbs (regular or gluten free)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ½ c. Red or Green Pepper
Let’s Get Cooking:

Preheat oven to 350˚F. Combine all ingredients, put into loaf pan (or shape in free form loaf on cooling rack, place on cookie sheet). Top with ketchup or chili sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes and peas… just like mama!
