Tanner was born and raised in Etowah, North Carolina, and moved to Asheville at the age of 18.
In 2013, Tanner began his career in the meat industry working as the Meat Department Manager at the South Asheville Earth Fare. When an opportunity to work for Hickory Nut Gap opened up at the beginning of 2019, he jumped at the chance. His vast knowledge of meat cuts make him the perfect asset to the wholesale division where he can assist with customer questions and order fulfillment.
His favorite part about working at HNG are the people, employees and customers equally. He loves how HNG treats both employees and customers with extreme care.
He loves paintball, music, sports, traveling, and making the most of everyday.
