Born and raised in central North Carolina, Ross has been happy to call Western NC home since 2005.

His 20+ year journey in the natural food industry began organically and has been diverse. He worked up through the retail ranks, spent time as a broker calling on national chains and small independents as well as managing a key account for a leading fresh distributor. He is excited to build on his past experiences and share Hickory Nut Gap’s story as a Southeast regional regenerative agriculture pioneer. Outside of work, Ross enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, playing disc golf and listening to records.
