Brad was born in Grand Junction, CO. He is part of a military family and has lived all over! Notably, Barcelona and Thailand (where he graduated high school).
He got a mechanical engineering degree from Colorado Mesa University while learning the art of making wine and mead. He left the area to travel on a roadtrip of discovery- what was the next step? He discovered Apple Country in the Southeast and was determined to break into the cider making craft.
Hired on at HNG in the thick of our fall season cider-pressing, Brad got a taste of what he set out for- and now he does all sorts of jobs on the farm- small butchery, grounds keeping, repairs and helping out customers while eagerly awaiting for apple season to come again.
His favorite parts about working here are the friendships, the customers, the education and fuzz therapy with all the animals.
He’s a bow-master in archery, the proud fur-father of Ginny the boarder-collie who has a fetching problem and he loves all things fermented: cider, vinegar, cheese and much more! Brad has designs on pursuing his education- there’s a PHD in his future.
